Box Turtle Partnership of Texas

    The Box Turtle Partnership of Texas would like to welcome the DFW Turtle and Tortoise Club as a new partner. The DFW Turtle and Tortoise Club is an all volunteer group dedicated to care and sustainment of chelonians of all types. Please welcome them by visiting their blog at www.dfwttc.org.

    Updates to the Regulations page are currently being worked. The regulations page will provide guidance pertaining to limits and responsibilities of those wishing to keep box turtles in captivity. In addition, links will be provided allowing individuals to view the regulations preventing commercial collection and sale of most all turtles.

    The Research page will continually be updated to show the location and summaries of box turtle research projects within the state of Texas. If you know of any research projects that are not shown on the research page please let us know by using the Contact page to provide the project name, organization, and a person to contact to request details.
